I attended several of his seminars at Trident,Greenville Tech and Gwinnett Tech. He was a great educator and great resource on AutoCAD and CAD in general. I used his texts for several of my courses. I was the fourth and last person to get a 2 years degree in AMT. For my three course certificate in AutoCAD I had classes in 9, 10, & 11. I was looking up Alan to ask him a question. Brilliant; yet humble, energetic; yet approachable, a genius in the ACAD arena; yet could speak easily and fundamentally to the most novice of users...I am truly better for having been taught by this man and I shall always remember him.
