I am sorry to hear of Alan passing. I attended several of his seminars at Trident,Greenville Tech and Gwinnett Tech. He was a great educator and great resource on AutoCAD and CAD in general. I used his texts for several of my courses. God Bless you Mrs. Kalameja.

I worked in the robotic lab as a work study with Bob H. I was the fourth and last person to get a 2 years degree in AMT. For my three course certificate in AutoCAD I had classes in 9, 10, & 11. I was looking up Alan to ask him a question. Alan was a great guy who always took time to help me. I was sorry to hear of his passing.

Mr. Kalameja was truly one of a kind. Brilliant; yet humble, energetic; yet approachable, a genius in the ACAD arena; yet could speak easily and fundamentally to the most novice of users...I am truly better for having been taught by this man and I shall always remember him. Thank-you God for the loan of Mr. K.

Hi, Owen

I am Alan's wife, Linda. Alan passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 5, 2010 after a very courageous two year battle against Glioblastoma brain cancer. A "Homegoing Service" will be held in Alan's memory on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Charleston Southern University, Lightsey Chapel in North Charleston, SC. Alan and I would have celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on this date.

I have set up a scholarship in Alan's memory at Trident Technical College to honor his legacy as a teacher.

I am glad you had the opportunity to work with Alan and thank you for posting this announcement.
